Terms of use
Your use of generator-for-home.com means you accept the terms listed here.
Only planning figures
For planning purposes, wattages, runtimes and prices, plus sizes, are only estimates. They aren't an electrical design. They also aren't a quote or advice about a specific house. What governs is your local permit and a licensed electrician's load calculation.
Safety
Use a generator outside only, and keep doors, windows and vents at least 20 ft away. Keep CO alarms inside. Don't connect any generator to house wiring unless you use a listed interlock or a transfer switch. Back-feeding breaks the law and can kill utility workers.
Trademarks and prices
Confirm prices with the seller or an installer, since they change. We use product and brand names only to identify products, and their owners own the names.
Liability
We provide the site as is. We aren't liable for losses caused by relying on its figures, to the extent the law allows.
